To achieve highly accurate moisture measurement, it is essential to select the appropriate piping materials and equipment based on factors such as the type of measured gas, level of contamination, flow rate, pressure, and the desired dew point for measurement.
Typically, a sensor block is used for measurements. However, if the measured gas and environment are clean, the sensor unit is equipped with a 5/8 UNF connection thread, allowing it to be directly inserted into a duct by threading the connection.

Sampling with the TK-100 Explosion-Proof model is very simple.
You can either install it directly in the duct or measurement environment, or if bypassing is possible, install the filter, sensor block, and flowmeter for sampling. These components are available as an optional “starter kit.”

The TK-100 Explosion-Proof Dew Point Transmitter requires a combination with an isolation barrier, which is available as an optional accessory.

The TK-100 Explosion-Proof Dew Point Transmitter is a capacitive dew point meter developed for measuring moisture in gases in explosive hazardous areas. The capacitive dew point meter uses a sensor element that detects changes in capacitance corresponding to the amount of moisture adsorbed.

This device is combined with an isolation barrier to create an intrinsically safe explosion-proof system, making it suitable for use in specially hazardous areas (formerly classified as Zone 0). The isolation barrier is installed in a non-hazardous area, with power supplied to the transmitter from a non-hazardous location.

The meter detects dew points in the range of -100°C to +20°C with an accuracy of ±2°C. The measurement results are output as an analog 4-20 mA signal and are used for dew point management in non-hazardous areas via the isolation barrier.
